Permissions: Reverie Terminal
P E R M I S S I O N S | Player Permissions BACKTAGGING: Always feel free. THREADJACKING: For nonsecure network things, sure! Otherwise, ask me. FOURTHWALLING: Probably no. Ask if it's important? OOC TRIGGERS: None for me! Character Permissions AFFECTION: Actually a computer. Flirt all you like, but unless you're really fond of hugging monitors, things aren't going anywhere. VIOLENCE: He won't be able to fight back, and once installed, will mostly interact through Reverie's own consoles. That said, feel free to break shit! MAGIC/PSYCHIC: ...still a computer! If your mindreading goes there, you're welcome to poke his personality matrix, but technopaths are likely to get further than your usual psychics. CODE MANIPULATION: While most of the above will have minimal effect, the mainframe AI is a coded being, and subject to being edited, wiped, and formatted like any computer. He'll avoid this where he can, but has a major weak point: his primary access terminal that he'll be arriving in. This system is expressly designed to control his functioning, and while it can (and will) be password-locked, the mainframe has zero personal ability to resist anything a validated operator might attempt. Permissions-wise, this is his biggest "ask first". I'm not at all opposed to plotting, but we should definitely be talking about it before anyone hacks him. CONTENT WARNINGS: The Fall is a canon with strong themes of control and violation... applied most commonly to robots. While the mainframe's not likely to mention much outside of murder happening to humans, you can expect casual mentions of AI being owned, restricted, demeaned, executed, wiped, vivisected, and generally abused as property. He is himself a bound AI, programmed to run a facility that pretty much consists of Robot Hell. If you'd prefer to avoid these topics, or rather I not tag you with him in the first place, feel free to let me know! |
